We're sorry Mr. Tree.
Mrs. Peachfuzz and I were concerned about a soft maple tree in the backyard. It appears that it was humungous enough to destroy half the house and and the pool. So we had it knocked down and rooted out. Plus, Mr. Tree was blocking the sun in the early afternoon thereby not allowing Mrs. Peachfuzz to suntan by her pool.
On a more serious note, I'd like to mention something about leading lines or edges. As a photographer, I look through my camera to find parts of nature or manmade objects that "lead" your eye back to the subject. Here, the roots that were several inches under the ground "lead" back to where the tree used to be. Using leading lines makes your portrait art more visually exciting! Later on, we'll chat about the rule of thirds and why a great portrait doesn't have to be centered in the frame.
